Nutritional Items Needed

I hope this email finds everyone doing well this Tuesday morning.


We are heavily involved, at the moment, in our off-season conditioning program.  I am reaching out to you this morning to ask a favor.  Coach Smith and I like to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the players after the workouts.  This helps to put back some of the nutrients into the body that they lost during these grueling workouts.  We are asking each player to bring two jars of peanut butter and two squeezable grape jellies to school – in order to help with this process.  If you would like for your child to bring more, we will certainly welcome it.  We would greatly appreciate your help in making this happen!

If your child has a peanut allergy or cannot eat peanut butter, please have them communicate this to Coach Adkins and he can suggest alternatives.  Turkey is a good option to send in.
